Church Placement —
We are committed to Kingdom work throughout Appalachia, including recruiting young pastors to plant or revitalize new churches. Our collective resources will provide you group coaching from area pastors, mentoring with a retired pastor, connection with our pipeline of ministry volunteers to serve with you, and access to our operational content (central office, equipment, graphics, extra supplies, etc.) so that you can focus on pastoral responsibilities.
Current Needs:
Lead Pastor to revitalize a small Baptist church in Greene County
Lead Pastor to replant a former Methodist church in Madison County
Church Planter to start church in Nethers, VA location
Church Planter in another county that God is leading you!
Residency Track —
As a resident, you will actively use your gifted across any of our ministries. We will equip and coach you while learning from each other and doing Kingdom work! We have 6 particpating churches for you to shadow and serve. Anyone can serve and learn, but this residency is specifically designed for those God has called to Appalachia. We ask that you commit to at least one semester to build relationships and maximize the opportunity.
Ministries include:
Pastoral leadership (preaching, staff development, care)
Worship ministry (band, production, graphics)
Student ministry (high school and middle school)
Children’s ministry
Groups and Volunteer teams
Outreach (Pop Up Church, wild game dinner, sports camp and Christmas boxes)
Addiction Recovery ministry
Sabbatical, retreat ministry (at a local historic b&b)
